Out of the Water
By Brooke Berman (USA)
World premiere

Directed by Nadia Tass
Featuring Kate Cole, Brett Cousins & Emily Milledge

5th February– 8th March
Q&A with cast 20th Feb

Polly and Graham knew each other once.
Or rather, they didn’t know each other, once.
Now Graham has embarked on an odyssey, and Polly isn’t scared of anyone.

New York, an erotic encounter, and the urgency of the forbidden.

A searing excavation of love and family, Out of the Water delves to the depths of personal loneliness and questions our primal hunger for intimacy.

"If you're feeling jaded and wondering if you'll ever be made to care by theatre ever again, go to this..[it] grabbed me by the vitals and didn't let go." Liza Dezfouli, artsHub

"Thoughtful, raw and intensely personal, Out of the Water sucks the audience into its grip. An absolute must see." Christopher Talbot, St Kilda News

Acting was superb - however I found the story line very ominous. But just to see quality acting worth the visit

The acting was superb! In particular Emily Milledge was enthralling. I look forward to catching each one of these actors elsewhere. Well done! And the theatre was perfect. Fantastic all up.
