It can preserve food, melt ice, make you thirsty and sting your eyes. Too much can kill you, not enough makes you sick and it definitely shouldn't be rubbed it into open wounds. Venice was founded because of it, the Romans were paid in it, the Vikings killed for it, and because of it you cannot sink in the Dead Sea. It can be in the form of a rock, brine, flakes or grains and Adelaide was Australia's largest producer of it.
Adelaide’s award winning company for disabled and non-disabled artists, Restless Dance Theatre, will present the world premiere of Salt in the Odeon Theatre, 57a Queen Street, Norwood from 17 to 25 January 2014.
Absolutely brilliant. These actors are very talented and should not be discredited solely because of their disabilities. I'll be looking forward to the next performance by this company.
