Thanks to Transmission Films, we have double passes to giveaway to see France’s official submission to the 2014 Academy Awards®: RENOIR (in cinemas nationally from Oct 24).
Directed by Gilles Bourdos (The Rules of the Game), RENOIR tells the story of celebrated Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir in declining health at age 74; and his son Jean, who returns home as a wounded World War 1 soldier. Both men fall under the spell of the painter’s latest muse: the free-spirited and young Andrée.

Beautiful film , well worth a watch
Lovely and interesting with beautiful scenery true to Renoir's work.
Interesting to see... A little slow.
Palace Verona was a beautiful venue, with a sophisticated yet edgy feel.
An insightful biopic of Renoir at an advanced age, his family and his muse. Although not glamorous, it was intresting to see how a great artist was inspired even as his health was declining. Worth seeing!
