Messiaen: Vingt Regards sur l’enfant Jesus

One of the most astonishing pieces of music ever 'Vingt Regards sur l’enfant Jesus' was composed by French composer, organist, ornithologist and devout Catholic Olivier Messiaen. The title roughly translates as ‘Twenty contemplations on the infant Jesus’ and is a meditation on his childhood.

One of this generation’s finest pianists, Mark Gasser is critically acclaimed for his wide repertoire of classical and contemporary music, and has performed as a soloist with leading symphony orchestras across the globe.
