Great opportunity to see something I probably wouldn't have attended. It sparked my interest now I am going to see a couple more films from the festival .

Plenty of possibilities and quite a dilemma to chose one. I ended up going to
www.italianfilmfestival.com.au/films/there-will-come-a-day
which delivered the high level of cinema I have come to expect from Italy only this time the setting was Manaus, Brazil with flashbacks to austere sanctuaries in the Italian Alps.

'Ali Blue Eyes' explored a number of themes from teenage friendships and peer group pressure, fitting in, intercultural relationships and family issues. It was a week in the life of Ali Blue Eyes and his companions. In this movie teenages seem to be exposed to alot more negative influences and grow up far quicker. It was an entertaining and thought provoking film. Well worth watching!
