Elder Hall is thrilled to present the award-winning Adelaide Chamber Singers, along with special guest Aleksandr Tsiboulski (guitar), as part of the Elder Perspectives concert series.
From John Dowland to Joni Mitchell, from the vibrant flamenco traditions of Spain to the gentle lyricism of American guitarist and composer Jeffrey Van, the sound of voice and guitar (or lute) together has been one of the most popular – and most intimate – of combinations in our musical heritage. In this program, Adelaide Chamber Singers collaborates with one of Australia’s leading classical guitarists, Alexander Tsiboulski, in music of great beauty and depth for chamber choir and guitar – continuing their homage to Benjamin Britten with a work that, although the fruit of his younger years, was not published until the very end of his life.
