You Stole My Life, Tim Minchin is a one-man comedy cabaret by Neil Robertson, with the world premiere at The Butterfly Club from September 25 to 29 as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival. A funny, moving musical about life, dreams, music, envy, fate, frustration, fame and the siren song of rock 'n roll. A bittersweet rock lament and fond love letter rolled into one.
You Stole My Life, Tim Minchin is written, produced and performed by Melbourne singer-songwriter Neil Robertson and this is his debut comedy cabaret.
A veteran journeyman of the local rock band scene, this show finds Neil discovering another side to his music, using his songwriting powers to escape from the beer soaked sticky carpets of pub rock to explore the more nuanced corners of cabaret.
