After the Trojan War, the world is in turmoil; the political landscape has been rattled and power sits with a small band of tribes scattered on islands in the Mediterranean. On one of these islands, Tauris, we find Iphigenie; the daughter of the world’s most infamous and formidable General, Agamemnon. Imprisoned she faces the ultimate trial…the murder of her brother…

My boyfriend and I went on Friday night, we are not regulars to the opera. But we absolutely loved it! The cast was believable, the set simple but achieved its objective.
We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone.

A truly wonderful performance by all! Minimalist set which worked perfectly and included an amazingly talented orchestra as well as a multitude of actors. It was great to be seated so close to the action in this intimate space. Loved the tortured tale and was so pleased to see a very positive end to the story! Go and see this!

Hard to rate this one. A terrific performance by the very talented cast, we just found the overall production not our cup of tea. If you're into opera then definitely go along. If you haven't ventured into this genre yet you may find it a little morbid.
Wonderful orchestra and cast pergormances though.
Outstanding Performances! The operatic style enhanced the story as it unfolded dramatically and brilliantly to its happy conclusion. Highly recommended!!!
The singers were all so talented and the set was nicely designed to make theaudience feel like they were part of the action.
