Fiona O’Loughlin
Fiona O’Loughlin started doing stand-up later in life than most comics, her hilarious stories of housewifery and motherhood were an immediate hit.
Her first festival show, for example – Fiona And Her Sister (And Some Weird Guy) earned her the Best Newcomer Award at the 2001 Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF). She’s been enjoying sell-out seasons on the festival circuit ever since. In 2006 she took home the Piece of Wood, an MICF award for funniest show as voted for by other comics. In 2007 and 2008 she was nominated for the MICF’s Barry Award for Best Show.

Fun night out with lots of laughs .Didn't realize there were other comedians doing their thing but they were all very funny.Have recommended to many of my friends.Something a bit different to what you would normally do.Recommend it !!
Fiona is gorgeous, I admire her honesty about motherhood, inviting us to laugh at ourselves. Great night out, I'd stopped gong to live venues but have started again thanks to On The House, great idea, got my kids, all students, on to it!

Love Fiona and her style. Was hoping for a new set but contained some repeat material I've heard before. Overall good night, my third time here and never fails to disappoint for some healthful laughter.
Fiona was great but was also very impressed with the MC for the night and other guests.
I thought the event was brilliant. The atmosphere, venue and acts were above par and thoroughly enjoyable. It did start a little late and therefore lasted longer than anticipated but it was worth it. Got pictures and the comedians now on Facebook! Great night!

Show was good. I have to agree with some of the other people that the show was shown as starting at 8pm but didn't start til 8.45pm and finish at 11pm which is way too late for midweek. I was also expecting a Fiona only show, but it turned out to be just like any other night at the Comedy Club. However, I still loved it and had a ball.
What can you say about Fiona O'Laughlin, she's awesome!!! She was great and so too were the rest of the comedians!
Nothing but crassness all through the night, only saving grace was Fiona's act.
Fiona was the best. The MC was next. It started too late. Finished too late for a work week night. But, I laughed, so I got my money's worth and then some. Thanks.
She is so quiet and matter of fact...and so funny. We had a truly enjoyable evening. And to think we almost considered tying at home because of the rain!!!
Great nights entertainment, class line up, Fiona was as funny as the write up.
Fiona was very good - lots of laughs. Great timing and a gentle approach. However there were three other "support" acts plus the MC, sometimes very funny, and sometimes not to my taste. This also made it an unexpectedly late night - finished about 11pm. That was not clear from the venue website. Good value for money but perhaps I'm getting too "senior" for comedy cafes!
The whole show including all the line up was absolutely fabulous!!! It was a great night of hysterical laughter. Clever comedy of personal anecdotes which was truly extremely funny. Highly recommend The Comics Lounge and seeing Fiona O' Loughlin.

One of the funniest nights I have attended, all the comedians (including the mc) were very funny. I will be telling all my friends this is a must see show
What a great night out! A good comedy range, all performers and pieces were amazingly funny, main act by Fiona O’Loughlin was hilarious. It was funny, witty, vibrant and very entertaining evening.
What a great night, the three comedians supporting Fiona were fabulous and the MC Joel Creasey hysterical (especially his Celine Dion story)!! Fiona, was as always, self deprecatingly funny allowing us to laugh at her and with her. We will certainly head to the Comedy Lounge again!
