Mama Cake

Mama Cake

Three guys and one journey to get a brownie. This film is packed in such unusual and unique ways that we might question what the film is all about. Mama Cake brings up the ideology, social, and spiritual issues, which are all symbolized through the film’s three main characters.

Truly, it is a movie of epic proportions. Lovable characters and an eccentric medium frame a quirky tale of three friends in search of steamed brownies, the eponymous Mama Cake, at the request of an ailing elderly.

On the surface it seems a comedic and light-hearted venture, but Mama Cake brings into sharp focus contemporary issues such as religion and society, examining the tenuous friendship of the three main characters as they struggle through their differences
