Steven Brinberg is SIMPLY BARBRA

Following two previous sold-out Australian tours in 2002 and 2009 – Luckiest Productions is pleased to announce that the world’s premier Barbra Streisand impressionist Steven Brinberg is returning to Australian shores to perform his internationally acclaimed show Simply Barbra. The show will run for a strictly limited season in Melbourne at Chapel off Chapel from June 28 – June 30.
Featuring delicious wit and an amazing vocal resemblance to Streisand, Brinberg’s Simply Barbra is an ever evolving show that affectionately pays homage to all that is Streisand. Weaved into the fabric of the show is an abundance of delightful comedy and entertainment. In fact, Simply Barbra is so good that Ms Streisand herself has given the show her seal of approval when she asked Steven to substitute for her by performing at her friend Donna Karan’s birthday party!
Acclaimed New York cabaret artist Steven Brinberg uncannily recreates Streisand’s most famous songs live including “People”, “Don’t Rain on My Parade”, “Memories” and You Don’t Bring Me Flowers to name just a few. Conceived in Brinberg’s native New York in 1993, Simply Barbra has been critically acclaimed around the world. Brinberg has won numerous awards for this show including both the Bistro & MAC awards twice and has six consecutive nominations.
This hilarious and affectionate pastiche is an unmissable night of entertainment.
