Theatre Tours Australia, the producers of DUMPED! The Musical have announced that the hugely successful musical already performed to packed houses in Brisbane and Adelaide will open in Melbourne Thursday 15th September 2011 at the Athenaeum Theatre.
The new all-star incredibly talented ensemble of Dumpees led by leading Australian writer and actress Emma Powell, British/Australian performer Mandi Lodge,(Busting Out!), actress and singer Jennifer Vuletic (Menopause-The Musical, Jerry Springer – The Opera) and actress and singer Amanda Levy.
The Melbourne season of DUMPED! The Musical romances its way into The Athenaeum Theatre 15th September, tickets on sale July 25th .
Set in the fictitious world of Dumpees’ Anonymous, life’s relationship “tragedies” are hilariously and hysterically dealt with by Jennifer Vuletic as group facilitator, Harmony seeking to heal the wounds of her newest intake, Sue (Busting Out! creator Emma Powell), Vera (Amanda Levy), Sharon (Mandi Lodge) and – the audience!

Being DUMPED... this most gut-wrenching of all fates will be commiserated, substantiated, cultivated, investigated and in the end, celebrated through hilarious characters, stories and 15 great songs that channel the pain and humiliation of a million bust-ups putting humour right back into affairs of the heart.
