THE TEN TENORS 2011
Premiering in New Zealand and Australia from June 2011, The TEN Tenors’ are bringing audiences their latest offering; DOUBLE PLATINUM; a brand new show alongside a double album of the same name, marking the tenth studio album for the group.
During ground-breaking achievements in 2010, not only were ‘The TEN’ gaining new audiences all over the world but also some famous new friends, leading to an appearance on Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure and through the roaring success of the show The Power of Ten, they fused rock and classical music together, kicking and screaming; creating a sound that is uniquely theirs.
The DOUBLE PLATINUM world tour and anniversary album is set to kick things up yet another gear; showcasing the talent of the group in a way no other artist can match. Musical Director Graham Foote enthused "We're throwing down the gauntlet with this show. It'll be bolder, bigger and better than ever before."
Audiences can expect some surprises and added treats to enhance their live show experience. More details will soon be revealed through the website and the group’s mailing list. The Australian leg of the WORLD PREMIER of DOUBLE PLATINUM will commence in Hobart in August 2011, travelling up the East Coast (with some forays inland) all the way to Cairns.
The DOUBLE PLATINUM album is set for release in Australia in July 2011 through Warner Music Australia.
