Winner of the Wellington Raw Comedy Quest, notorious Kiwi comic Sean Collier brings his debut solo show to Melbourne.
Hailing originally from Whangarei in the north of New Zealand, Sean began his comedy career in 2016, in a dingy pub in Christchurch. Two years later he was the winner of the Wellington Raw Comedy Quest and runner up in National Raw Comedy Quest finals in Auckland. Since then he has performed all across New Zealand, Europe and Australia, including in multiple fringe festivals.
Drawing on material from growing up in regional New Zealand, accidentally becoming a lawyer and drunkenly travelling along the borders of warzones, his show is a culmination of dark insights and comedic introspection designed to leave you feeling generally concerned about the future of the species.

Sean was very funny - being from an older gen I found his humor both jarring and relateable (I'm a kiwi). He worked low brow magnificently - very talented!
Shaun did well to work the audience who were not super responsive and stamp his own brand of comedy on us. With more finesse and experience he’s going to be a blast. Great value for money.

The rude bits were a bit uncomfortable and the crowd was shy on the night I went. I recommend giving his show a go if you are not squeamish about drugs, sex, poo and suicide. Yep… quite the combo of themes.
Sean Collier's humour is one of the "politically incorrect" and "you can't say that anymore" type, to some tastes can be a bit rough around the edges, filled with street smart humour, plus a lot of self-deprecating humour, therefore a well worth visiting and enjoying an evening of Sean's stand-up act!
Set in a smaller and intimate setting, an hour with Sean Collier was an hour of laughter and relaxation.
