I found The Rooster to be a very moving film. The story starts out very slow and builds during the film. The film is quite complex and reveals issues affecting the main characters as the film progresses. Hugo Weaving plays an amazing part and Phoenix Rae is very good also, both are dealing with issues from their past life and depression. The story is about two male characters who come together and form a special bond between themselves, which grows as they get to understand each other better. I actually thought it was an amazing film!

Another great performance by Hugo Weaving - enjoyed this not knowing much about it going in

Toyin

Enjoyed it immensely and found the story touching and thought-provoking.

Didn't really enjoy it too much. Even though the two main actors performed well the film was just all over the place and you didn't really get to know the characters.

Mary

We both really enjoyed this movie, especially Hugo Weaving's performance
