One Life
The inspiring true story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, whose unsung endeavours on the eve of World War II saved more than 600 children from their doom at the hands of the Nazis. Fifty years later, it’s 1988 and Nicky is haunted by the fate of the children he wasn’t able to help. And so it’s not until he’s surprised by the survivors on live television that he can accept that when facing devastating atrocities, saving even one life is a victory, and the British public learn the truth about the hero hidden in their midst.
A film starring Anthony Hopkins, Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Flynn, opening nationally in cinemas on 26 December.

Better than I expected!
Very thought provoking. Shows what can be achieved when people feel that they are working on the side of what’s right. Probably Helena Bonham Carter’s most subdued performance ever, but she was so well cast in her supporting role.
One Life at Palace Cinema Brighton Bay! Absolutely heart wrenching and heartwarming, an emotional true story of ordinary people who love and make a significant and the most important difference.
A moving and thought provoking film about humanitarian Nicholas Winton, who thankfully overcame his reluctance to share his amazing achievements with the world. Anthony Hopkins and Joe Flynn play their roles exceptionally well and the audience was captivated throughout the entire movie.
A must-see. This movie is touching and will make you cry brilliant.
