The Australian Global Health Alliance is thrilled to be hosting its second Australian Global Health Film Festival this October.
Opening night event: Solstice @ Cinema Nova
Solstice is a thought-provoking documentary that revolves around the tragic loss of 15-year-old Mary Baker to suicide. The film highlights the experiences of individual families who find themselves fighting for improved mental health care, while also being a powerful exploration of resilience, healing, and the potential for change in the face of profound loss.
This film has won both international film awards and community awards for the support program for rural families and mental health.
