Really liked hearing about crime reporting in the 1970's and 1980's. Different time and very interesting to hear from two experience and credentialed crime writers

Wasn't exactly sure what to expect, and in the end it was very interesting to hear the journalists' perspectives on the investigations with a touch of humour, it was nice to be light hearted and not too dark.

I was underwhelmed with jokes about serious criminal activities and police corruption. The presenters should leave comedy to the professionals. I personally was bored.

Interesting discussion in an eclectic venue, but thought it lacked punch - whether it could have been supported by audio/visual aids I’m not sure.

Very unusual to have funny stories about really horrible people that I hope never to meet, and situations I don't want to experience in real life.
John Sylvester is a natural raconteur and Andrew Rule was interesting. The Brunswick Ballroom is a good venue; didn't try the food but it looked ok. If you have On the House tickets you need to get there early as it's a 'first come first served basis'. Excellent night.
