Latin Grammy Award winner and Grammy Award nominee, Gaby Moreno will return to Australia in March to launch her Double-A side single and preview her forthcoming new album on the festival circuit, with a special Melbourne showcase at the Brunswick Ballroom on Tuesday, March 15, as part of her Maybe Today Maybe Tomorrow national tour.

As a double-treat, the acclaimed Guatemalan singer/songwriter - one of the closing acts at the Port Fairy Folk Festival and fresh from WOMADelaide - will be joined by one of the hottest emerging folk artists in the UK, Katherine Priddy, who is also performing at Port Fairy.

Australian audiences first fell in love with Gaby in 2019 during her first solo Australian tour, which included three stunning Port Fairy performances. This year, she will also perform in the Festival’s iconic Women Out Loud event.

An exceptional guitar player and exquisite vocalist, her live shows will see her trio perform songs in English and Spanish, with her signature cinematic sound across a range of genres, from folk to pop; jazz to blues; soul to R&B.

In addition to her many accolades and critical acclaim, Gaby’s YouTube videos have amassed over 1 billion views.

Gaby is in high demand in the film and television industry. She wrote, performed and produced the score for the 2021 Natalie Morales/Mark Duplass film Language Lessons. She also composed the theme song to the TV show Parks and Recreation and sings the theme song and voices a character on Disney!s Elena Of Avalor, which features Disney's first Latina princess.

Across her career, Gaby has shared the stage with luminaries such as Bono, Andrea Bocelli, Tracy Chapman, Ani DiFranco, Punch Brothers, Hugh Laurie, Buena Vista Social Club, Calexico, David Gray and many more.

Gaby's recent album Spangled was a collaboration with Van Dyke Parks and features a duet with Jackson Browne.

Her moving version of the classic song Cucurrucucú Paloma was chosen to play at the end of the emotional episode "God Bless America" for the last season of Netflix's original show, "Orange Is The New Black”.

Later this year, Gaby will be making her Netflix debut in Guillermo Del Toro!s upcoming series Cabinet of Curiosities performing a song from her upcoming album. Gaby's episode within the series stars Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) and is directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight).

The singles Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow and Nobody!s Wrong will be released digitally March 11, 2022, with release details of the album, titled Alegoría, to be announced soon.
