"Inventi Ensemble are masters of classical repertoire, re-inventors of past works, and performers of the new." - Soundescapes
True to style, Inventi Ensemble brings to life Grieg’s epic work for orchestra: Peer Gynt, in a stunning arrangement for flute, oboe, violin, viola and cello by Melbourne-based arranger, Glynn Davies. The full two suites take us on a journey from Norway to Egypt and Morocco, featuring familiar favourites Morning Mood and In the Hall of the Mountain King. The concert will also feature the world premiere performance of a new work by acclaimed Australian composer, Melody Eötvös.
