Created and composed by Joe Accaria, with creative direction by Nigel Turner-Carroll and choreography by Peta Anderson, the Australian Premiere season of Drummer Queens will open at the Sydney Lyric Theatre, February 2021.

High energy show. Leave hearing aids at home. Hari Krishna practitioners can pick up some lessons in drums.
I was skeptical that an 80-minute show of drumming would sustain my interest, but this was fantastic. The only reason to drop the last star was that I would have loved to see live guitar and horns in the sections where these instruments were prominent to the performance, rather than just backing tracks.

The shot of energy was electrifying, a powerful and entertaining show of amazing young women with dynamic talents - percussion rules. We loved it and am thinking of seeing the show again before it leaves Melbourne. It is wild unleashed music tap and drums - perfect for a cold night that will heat you up with excitement humour and dance.

Bright blinding white lights pierced the iris causing tears to form. Drumming sounds enveloped the theatre as the stage came as love with eight highly talented musical performers. They engaged the audience with their talents, music and lighting show. Well worth going to.
