Based on the Hollywood film starring Adam Sandler, The Wedding Singer celebrates all the fun of the ‘80s. Yes, hair is big, collars are up, and it’s packed to the brim with feel-good moments that will put a smile on your face.
Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s number one wedding singer and the life of the party. That is until his own fiancé strands him at the altar. Bitter and broken, Robbie begins to make every wedding as disastrous as his own until a warm-hearted waitress named Julia intervenes. Only trouble is, Julia’s about to be – you guessed it – married! Can Robbie pull off the performance of the decade and win the girl of his dreams?

The first half was not enjoyable as there was a lot screeching and way too loud diminishing the abilities of the performers & making very painful to listen. Second half much better. Seems they may have turned down the volume plus better songs especially ‘it’s all about the green’.

Show was great if i wasn't such a huge Wedding Singer fan. They deviated from the movie too much but if i hadn't seen the movie a thousand times I would have loved it.

I do think most singers need more warmup prior to the beginning, since first few songs could have been performed better.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but am very familiar with it but didn't have anything to compare it to, so the stage Musical was new and fresh to me. A lot of fun and great night with all original songs played.

Vibrant and energetic from the opening number! Teagan Wouters, Christian Charisiou and Nadia Komazec hot every note perfectly and drew love from the audience. This production in the renovated Her Majesty's Theatre is THE BEST way out of Covid restrictions!
