Fresh from sell out shows in London and New York comes Marney McQueen’s perfectly primped, plucked and groomed one-woman-show featuring a follicle-y unchallenged and unstoppable beautician. Rosa the Russian Beautician, the international sensation in beauty therapy, has finally come home.
Combining music, comedy, and tales from behind the Iron Curtain, this show will leave audiences with no option but to have a ball in fine Russian style.
Marney McQueen is Melbourne's own international cabaret-diva. Having been nominated for, and won, several best actress awards, including the Green Room award for best ensemble in a musical 2008, McQueen has written and performed the following sell out sensations; Bustin Out: Bondi to Broadway and Bustin Out Again - both performed in New York. The NIDA graduate has also starred in MTC and STC productions (Scarlett O’Hara, The Give and Take), taken a lead role in Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical, and collaborated on The Wedge.
