Gypsy music has been disappearing with alarming speed: Rarely will you see a Gypsy violinist, strolling amongst the tables of fine restaurants laden with grand history. Gypsies have contributed their own unique styles to many classical composers such as Liszt, Bizet, Brahms, Dvorák, Verdi, Rachmaninov and Bartok. Likewise, classical music and instruments have become an intergal aspect of gypsy music. Both genres are fast becoming a thing of the past; these musicians are victims of changing tastes, lost somewhere. Concertino Trio revives these genres craftfully. The Trio is led by Australia's virtuoso violinist - Igor Oskolkov, managed by superb cellist, Alex Begelfor and completed by exceptional, virtuoso pianist Vitaly Barishnikov. Their repertoire includes traditional as well as original gypsy tunes and world folk music from Middle East, South America, Armenia, Greece, Russia, Romania, Hungary, as well as other Eastern European countries.
