Nemanja Radulović with Ensemble Liaison
UNSW welcomes Ensemble Liaison and violinist Nemanja Radulović to Sydney in October!
Each year, Ensemble Liaison invites an impressive array of guest artists to join them in concerts around the country. The Music Performance Unit is thrilled to present the extraordinary virtuosity of Serbian-French Violinist Nemanja Radulović who joins Clarinettist David Griffiths’ dynamic group, Ensemble Liaison in concert at Sir John Clancy Auditorium on Saturday 26 October at 7pm. Taking the classical music world by storm with his thrilling virtuosity, depth of expression and adventurous programming, both in the recording studio and on the concert stage, Radulović’s previous concerts have been spectacular and a season highlight for those fortunate to experience him live in concert!
This engaging, innovative and accessible program commences with inspiring Bach and Handel reimagined by Ensemble Liaison and Halvorsen reflecting the ornate and elegant times of the Baroque period. Then as we shift gears, we will hear Khachaturian’s Trio and Bartok’s Romanian Dances which will get you moving in your seats. Bringing the night to a close, Ensemble Liaison and Radulović will perform Brahms’ gypsy-inspired Piano Quartet in G minor arranged by David Griffiths. This will be a night of fiery collaborations! The most expressive quartet I have seen! Nemanja entwined himself with his fellow musicians to play with joy. The ensemble's love of their craft was evident and the audience showed their pleasure with multiple standing ovations!
What a wonderful performance! Such a high calibre of musicians. Nemanja Radulovic and Ensemble Liason were expressive and engaging and they played an interesting and diverse array of music.
One of the things I really like about itsonthehouse tickets is the chance to see performers and shows I would not normally hear about or think of going to see. Both Ensemble Liasion and Nemanja Radulović were outstanding and the whole performance was a pleasure. Well worth the trek (for me) to the Eastern Suburbs.
We loved it! Not only was Nemanja Radulovic fabulous on his violin, the Ensemble Liaison was excellent and they were clearly having a ball playing together. The seats were great. We had a wonderful evening.
WOW, WOW, WOW!! What an enjoyable evening in that lovely UNSW auditorium. Nemanja Radulovic and Ensemble Liasion were, all four of them, accomplished and exceedingly entertaining. All of them were so expessive and the communication between them was a joy to watch.
