In what will be the celebrated dance company’s first visit to Australia, Panta Rei Danseteater will perform Lullaby to audiences in the Alexander Theatre.
Norway’s imaginative dance company Panta Rei takes its name from the ancient Greek philosophy ‘everything flows’. When you encounter the group’s trademark style – stripped-down, immediate and centred on a fluid relationship between audience and performer – this makes perfect sense. Lullaby belies its title. Co-created by three female choreographers (Anne Holck Ekenes, Pia Holden and Hélène Blackburn) for three male dancers.
This is an Australian exclusive. Dance lovers looking to make a night of it can enjoy dinner and a drink at the Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts’ new restaurant and bar, Script at the Jazz Club before the performance.
