I hunger for you by Kimberly Bartosik/daela

I hunger for you by Kimberly Bartosik/daela

Suspended in a stark, mesmerising world defined by light and its absence, I hunger for you pulses with the restless impulse to lose ourselves in ecstasy, ritual and desire, riding an edge of barely controlled abandon into the vibrating stillness of its aftermath.

A Bessie-award winner, 2019 Guggenheim Fellow in Choreography and former dancer for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Kimberly Bartosik has in recent years been hailed as one of the most adventurous and exciting dancemakers working today.

Possessed energetic choreography of religious ecstasy

Dancers should have had more support from staging and light to create a performance of note

georgieboy

Not to my liking, but maybe I missed something. More like a physical representation of medical disorders.

VIDAMARIA

I hunger for you was mysterious liberating pulsing with energy and life and all the longings and issues. It was great.

Timbos

mesmerising
