A proud Pitjantjatjar, Yunkunjtajarra, Warrimal, South Sea and German descended woman, Elaine is a powerhouse performer with an incredible voice and a story to tell. With a career spanning more than 20 years across theatre, film and television, Elaine brings her new show to Adelaide Cabaret Festival to share a world full of music, laughs, loss and love complete with an original score.

Very moving in parts, the opening story about her friend’s suicide was very emotive. As the play went on, however, we weren’t seeing much light and shade contrast......the tone felt very heavy throughout. Maybe that was intended but I think the performance would’ve benefitted from more variation in mood and content.
Not bad. Singing was good but the rest was confusing.
Heartfelt story teller, wonderful singing voice and beautiful songs. Great show.
A talented performer but thought second half of show was focussed to long on political stance and would of loved to heard more music
Overall, an interesting, realistic play with good vocals.
