Crisis, is a comedy written by multi award winning playwright Neil Cole and performed by actors who have Schizophrenia under the project name “Into The Limelight”.
A new Prime Minister is elected and five minutes later the economic crisis happens.Anne (by Ella Byrne) doesn’t know what to do, the country is floundering. It’s so bad refugees are not coming here anymore. Those that were here are going back to where they came from. Drastic measures are needed. A wartime bipartisan cabinet, major cutbacks, with a new tax on buskers because they are the only ones making money, and there had been a huge increase in them.

Gallant effort but not my cup of tea
It was a heartwarming experience to understand the challenge faced by the young cast in this parody and that they acquitted themselves well, albeit with the occasional failure to remember their lines. I’m glad to have attended.
Not a bad effort given they were amateurs. Takes a lot of courage to get up there, especially if they have a medical condition. Well done!
The actors friends and supporters were appreciative. Quirky story.
