The Ubuntu Project | Transitions Film Festival

Inspired by the South African philosophy of ‘Ubuntu – I am who I am because of who we all are’, The Ubuntu Project is a celebration of human-ness and a global exploration of people, stories and connection.

How do we humans connect? How do we decide who we like and who we don’t like? Who we’ll offer help to and who’s needs we’ll ignore?

In order for us to connect with one another, we need to know one another. In order to know one another we need to have conversations, to share stories, to really understand what lies beneath the surface and discover the human-ness in all of us.

Inspired by the South African philosophy of Ubuntu, I am who I am because of who we all are, The Ubuntu Project is a celebration of this human-ness; a global exploration of people, stories and connection.

The Ubuntu Project aims to promote a sense of unity and respect and highlights that, despite our differences, we are all part of the same human race.
