The Boîte presents John Scurry's Reverse Swing

John Scurry has been a stawart of Australia’s swing and traditional jazz scene for 50 years. He has performed internationally with iconic bands like The Red Onions. Now he has released his first original CD. Enjoy a live band performance of Post Matinee.

The band comprises some of Australia’s finest exponents of both traditional, swing and contemporary jazz with an extensive collective playing history both nationally and internationally. Eugene Ball trumpet, new member Brennan Hamilton – Smith clarinet, Matt Boden piano, Howard Cairns bass, Danny Fischer drums and John Scurry guitar. The band released their first CD on Lionsharecords in late 2017, an album of original compositions by John Scurry and produced by Eugene Ball and John Scurry.
