BEFUDDLED is a mixture of scenes where people find themselves confused, bemused and muddled!
BEFUDDLED is performed by Adult Students from "Drama With A Difference" - Australia's leading independent drama school and the launching pad of many successful and well-known actors. These performers have come together from all walks of life- some with prior experience, and others braving the stage for the time; all being directed by a seasoned, highly experienced professional theatre practitioner, Chris Connelly.
With a diversity of events in the one show, there is bound to be something for everyone! We have been producing successful shows in The Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Melbourne Fringe Festival for 10 years, with "On the House" audiences loving our shows that are performed in an intimate 50 seat theatre in Kew.
Many audience members have commented on the enthusiastic and entertaining shows we have produced with performers who have a range of experience. This year's' 2018 Comedy Festival is one with a real difference - As opposed to working from pre-written scripts the performers have created their own characters and scenarios. After many weeks of character preparation, these characters were placed in various comic scenarios. Some of these scenarios were then carefully scripted, while others remain the work of constant improvisation under the guidelines of a given scenario. This is a very creative process that is something different for our audiences. - As our drama school's name suggests, this really is "Drama (or comic drama!) With A Difference".
