Melbourne Opera continues its Wagner cycle with a new production of his greatest opera, Tristan and Isolde.
Eminent international Wagnerian Maestro Anthony Negus makes his Australian debut, leading a superb international cast featuring Neal Cooper, Lee Abrahmsen, Sarah Sweeting, Michael Lampard and Steven Gallop. MO's recent productions of Lohengrin, Tannhäuser and Rienzi have all received critical and popular acclaim.
This new production directed by Suzanne Chaundy presents a unique opportunity to see a masterpiece last seen in Melbourne seventeen years ago.
