It was amazing. One of the best I've seen. The team work, timing, trust & bond between them was magical. Couldn't peel my eyes away.

A great experience of strength and choreography mixed with humour and a dash of showmanship. Athleticism in performance ! It was great to see the cast enjoying themselves as much as the audience and they deserved the standing ovation at the end. One note - I would agree with the comment that they need to look at their lighting, as I am sure that it must be as distracting for the performers as it was for the audience. It should support - not get (literally) in the way of their show.

Wonderful acrobats
Loved it. What a talented group of acrobats. Would highly recommend to others. The lighting placement made it rather difficult to see at times.

A Simple Space is anything but simple. You discover this as soon as the show starts.
These are seven acrobatic performers, dressed in basic t-shirts, pants and shirts. You won't see any glitz or glamour on stage - this would be a distraction. The acrobats use each other, as well as the occasional audience member as props.
The troupe includes one percussionist, who is also an acrobat. Even though he uses his drum kit for most of the acts, his drumming skills shine when he uses his body to create a rich tapestry of percussion sounds. The audience is absorbed, open-mouthed and in disbelief.
In fact, much of the show leaves you stunned. Are these acrobats human?
They make a human skipping rope that they jump over. They build human towers and then walk from head to head as though they were walking on the ground. They create a human roller coaster and then ride it.
Each act is engaging and displays unique, unexpected stunts.
These are weightless ragdolls that defy gravity. There is no fear and no safety equipment. They dilute the intensely close-your-eyes, nerve-racking acts with humour and playfulness. These guys are having fun on stage and the crowd loves it.
Strength, speed and also grace are words that come to mind when you watch The Simple Space.
The performance is raw. It is intimate. You develop a symbiotic relationship with each of the performers. You hear them breathe as though they are breathing into your ear. You react when they react. You smile when they do.
This is world-class physical theatre and is suitable for audiences of 6 plus.

Such a fabulous performance. The choreography was flawless and the the performers were engaging with the audience. Their trust in one another was beautiful to watch and their strength, flexibility and endurance kept me on the edge of my seat.

I was just amazed at the strength and focus of the young, taut, fit and very nimble performers, performing in well "A Simple Space" with few if any props. The minimalist stage and the stylized lighting showcased the skill and agility of the performers who teased and seduced the audience with their trim taut and terrific selves - what a treat!
Beyond words fantastic. Loved the relaxed intimate setting and camaraderie both between the perfomers and with the audience. Its for all ages and the skill level choreography and comedy is flawless. I wanted to go back and experience it all again. Maybe I will.
What a unique experience! The acrobats had the audience on their toes! Great skills, great music, great performance!
The athletes were very fit and flexible, performing amazing athletic feats and I did enjoy the performance. They made us laugh and the audience got drawn in and connected with the cast but we come to expect more staging, props and colour. The lights on the minimalist stage were in my eyes most of the time which made it difficult to see.
