Taste of Melbourne
The Taste Festival is an annual feast for all senses and celebration of Melbourne’s vibrant food and culture scene, with an iconic new home in Yarra Park from Thursday November 30 to Sunday December 3.
Taste of Melbourne in partnership with Electrolux will pair the city’s favourite chefs with creative counterparts – from fashion designers and sculptors to graffiti artists and illustrators – and curate exciting culinary collaborations unique to the festival to celebrate its 10th birthday in Melbourne this year.
Over four days, Yarra Park will become a sophisticated playground for art and entertainment enthusiasts, culinary connoisseurs, gig-goers and summer socialites as the city unites for good vibes and great taste.

Great outdoor event, lovely giveaways as you enter. Delicious food with the MCG as a great backdrop.

Perfect night out!
You had to be a tri athlete to get to the venue even from the paid parking, and no where near the MCG as suggested. Sponsors like American Express were super generous with give away picnic blankets etc but booth holders, who definitely had great food, wine etc. were nowhere near as generous. Spent a fortune on samples which were all $10 - $15 per small sample plate, was already there so wanted to enjoy and did, but would not go back. Too hard to get into and great to taste so many fabulous chefs, but way over priced for sizes of portions and just all added up.
Location was not great with the weather this weekend. I was there on the Thursday night in the heat and it was fairly quiet so really easy to get around and see everything.
A very enjoyable evening of strolling around the stalls and chatting to the wine and food producers. Bought a few things and had a great night.

Could not attend due to rains, however, based on the previous years, i am sure, even this year's event would be excellent

The cheapest component of a food festival is the produce.
Organisers should be more generous.
Maybe the organisers and the exhibitors should visit some food festivals in Europe to get some pointers.
Light entertainment on a delightful evening. Some new and interesting produce, but smaller and sadly less offerings each year.
Generous samples and freebies. Hands on classes were fun and educational - making your own puff pastry is not so difficult afterall. I agree with food options comment. Entertainment was non-existent.
Tonight's session was definitely better last year's day season. I enjoyed it!
Some great suppliers. Bought some lovely wines, cider and tea. Food was good but would've been better with more food options.
