Born story-tellers, Neil Thomas and David Wells have been friends since the first day of school when they were paired together to do a short play about their holidays, travelled the world together and ate, slept, bathed and performed inside a shop window for six months. In Mantalk, they bare their friendship on stage, dangerously live.

Interweaving fact, fiction and original songs to create an entertaining and revealing show that captures their friendship, Mantalk negotiates the hazardous boundary between performance and reality.

Having already charmed audiences at The Melbourne International Arts Festival, Melbourne Fringe, Adelaide Cabaret Festival and the Natimuk Festival, Thomas and Wells goad, cajole and entertain each other leaving their audiences wondering what will happen next.

Collaborating artists for over 15 years, Neil Thomas and David Wells collapsed the walls of the private and public long before Big Brother when they spent 24 hours a day together under the scrutiny of more than 250 000 people in the Urban Dream Capsule. The show won the Age Critics Award and a Green Room Award and has since toured to Ghent, Montreal, Galway, Chicago, London, Wellington, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
