Calendar Girls
Peter J Snee will be back in the Director's chair later this year, bringing the heartwarming story 'Calendar Girls' by Tim Firth to the Australian theatre scene.
Calendar Girls is based on the film, which tells the stories about a group of British women who make a nude calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund, ending up going global.

Fantastic, funny and entertaining show. Great actors and what a wonderful story. We had terrific seats and everyone in the audience had plenty of laughs.
We had great seats. I was a little disappointed as the production had no set changes. Perhaps the screen version did not translate so well to a play. The first half of the play seemed better scripted than the 2nd half. The photo shoot was very well done. On the whole it was a fun evening.

very sweet story told with heart and humor
Okay but not great, somewhat predictable including funny moments, was hoping for an updated take on an old headline news story but it stayed safe and somewhat flat, dragging on at points.

Very enjoyable show. Well acted. Although realising the tone of the show changes in the second act, I feel the pace also eases after the build up of the first act. Would reccomend as a fun night out. Probably for a slightly older demographic

We had a really fun night out,the actors were great and it was really hilarious. We were given seats 5 rows from the front which was amazing coz we can see the actors facial expressions well.

We thoroughly enjoyed this play. The actors were extremely good and I was surprised that they all managed the Yorkshire accent very well. Abi Richardson, who played Annie was particularly believable and she brought tears to our eyes. It was fortunate that we had seen the movie because the script and the production didn't make the fact that he was dying of leukemia clear. It is also quite amusing.
