Outstanding performance!Stewart D'Arrietta is an amazing artist and I felt privileged to witness this show.
A good 3.5 stars for the music and singing (stories seemed half-baked at times), even if it wasn't so much like Leonard Cohen. I did particularly like some of the interpretations.
Loved it... my husband is the real fan... I became a fan on the night...very well done!

Wonderful music performed with much passion. The reflections and stories from Leonard's life and inspirations were an interesting surprise too.
Absolutely brilliant evening of poetry in song - rythmic voices - Leonard Cohen did come alive with a team of Angels - true artists - so delighted to be immersed in its entirety ..just like 'a bird on a wire' listening to many flavours of song & rythm.

Leonard Cohen came alive tonight through Stewart D’Arrietta and and his seven-piece band. D’Arrietta's interpretation of Cohen's music was sublime. The band threw in the odd tango, a bit of Irish music and other variations to make this music their own. Like Cohen, D’Arrietta is charming. Throughout the night he told stories, many things I had not known.
For instance, one of my favourite Cohen's songs, Dance Me to the End of Love, which is a love song, follows a typical Greek "Hasapiko" dance path, and was inspired by the Holocaust. D’Arrietta and his world class band left the audience uplifted. People floated out of the Playhouse satiated. The night was a real success.
