39 FOREVER is an honest, insightful and laugh out loud comedy about ageing in an image obsessed world, where social media, photo-shop and Botox have forever changed the quest for eternal youth. From her first childhood home perm to the last year of her 30’s Amity explores the pressure women face to stay forever young and questions whether 40 really is the new 30 (or if that’s just something people say to make them feel better.)
39 FOREVER received 5 star reviews for its Adelaide Fringe season, selling out 12 shows and adding 5 more dates due to popular demand. Both critics and audiences fell in love with Amity’s witty and honest take on ageing;
Amity Dry is perhaps best known for her role on the hit reality TV show THE BLOCK and for her top 10 album THE LIGHTHOUSE however she is making a name for herself internationally as a musical theatre writer and composer to watch. He original musical MOTHER, WIFE & THE COMPLICATED LIFE has received rave reviews both nationally and internationally and most recently staged a 43 show Australian tour. It’s played at the New York Musical Theatre Festival, the United Nations, 54 Below New York and was translated into Norwegian for a season in Norway. Later this year it is being work- shopped in London for a potential UK tour, with support from a London based production team.

Amazing voice, shine and charm
I wasn't the target audience for the show. The telling of the story of a woman in transition was seven well with the tunes bug you had to know the reference songs for the humor to work. Some of the audience were engaged by the show but not many.
What an entertaining show!
Amity Dry has a Wonderful, STRONG voice, so lots of singing, and a lot of laughs. Plus some home truths we could all relate to!
Amity deserves to have a FULL HOUSE every night. She is a great entertainer and EVERYONE in the audience thoroughly enjoyed the show. The applause clearly indicated their appreciation.

Great voice accompanied with humorous tales that anyone with a bit of vintage could relate to. Very personable and entertaining.
