Lily, Michael and Skinner are three strangers who are forced to take refuge when a civil rights protest march turns violent. Unwittingly they find themselves trapped inside the Mayor's parlour. The Freedom of the City is a powerful and touching story of three very different people thrown together by fate and the world's reaction to their untimely deaths.

A laborered production that showed a lack of understanding of the text. Great quality set but was a shame the actors handing spent a lot of time with the director realizing the script to bring it to life.
