(Theatreworks, June 2007), NEO Production Company will embark on another endearing quest- presenting Melbourne audiences with a most charming Australian comedy, 'The Journey Girl' from Wednesday 24 October at Forty Five Downstairs.
This delightful one-woman Australian musical, written and composed by multi award winning dramatist and Pratt Prize winner Anthony Crowley (The Frail Man, Shadow Passion, The Wild Blue), will feature up and coming actor Emma Caldwell in the leading role.

In 'The Journey Girl', we meet Annie, an adventurous young Australian woman attempting to conquer the world with nothing more than a backpack and map. After spending almost a year working and traveling her way through Europe; her foreign encounters and new-worldly experiences provide the ideal conversation starter when she stumbles into an occupied gloomy church hall….lost, sick and scared shitless!
