A degree of cringeworthiness in the set of some performer guests sugests they will probably benefit from more open mike nights. They didn't have the material to tempt me into buying tickets as a result of this taster. MC guys could tighten up the flabby patter. Rob Caruano did pretty well considering he didn't know he'd have to do a short set in this podcast. I think if we'd seen him do the physical stuff he described it would have been a much more enticing set. Aside from Caruano's valiant attempts, I could have quite happily skipped this entirely.
