Beautifully filmed, sensitively exposed an aspect of WW11 that I'd not known about.

'Welcome to Norway' is a very enjoyable, light-hearted take on an unlikely issue, that of accommodating refugees. It successfully balances moments of comedy with insights into the pathos of the plight of a refugee through characters that engage us as real people, not stereotypes. Highly recommended.

We saw 'sparrows' today. A bit slow but very touching and sensitive story of a teenager boy.

We saw The Fencer at the Como on Tuesday night. Loved the excursion to a country on the other side of the world about which we knew very little. Set during the time of Stalin, postwar.

Our dog ate our ticket which was on the table...it's pretty ripped up, I don't think we can attend the film...but Reykjavik and Welcome to Norway both sounded amazing.
