On the 400th anniversary of the Bard's death, Class Act Theatre presents his timeless romance of jealousy and forgiveness re-imagined in a modern setting and performed by some of Melbourne's most talented actors.
The Winter's Tale is directed Stephen Lee, who has almost 40 years experience in performing, directing and teaching Shakespeare.
This rivetting and beautiful play features some of Melbourne's finest actors of Shakespeare: Adam May, Jimmy James Eaton, Ivy Latimer, Katharine Innes, Paul Robertson, Brian Edmond, Charlie Sturgeon, Alicia Beckhurst, Angelique Malcolm and Adam McGurk.
The acting was excellent. However it was touted as a modern interpretation but I found it very traditional.
