The Winter's Tale

On the 400th anniversary of the Bard's death, Class Act Theatre presents his timeless romance of jealousy and forgiveness re-imagined in a modern setting and performed by some of Melbourne's most talented actors.

The acting was excellent. However it was touted as a modern interpretation but I found it very traditional.

Well enacted shakespeare play. Several actors were compelling with great voice control (a must with shakespeare plays), others wee less so. Katherine Innes, well done.

Excellent play about love, jealousy, forgiveness through comedy, tragedy, romance. Wonderful acting by real professionals. Only downer, very long night for a winter's night and too much cooling in the theater.

Harry

If you are a Shakespeare lover it was a great night out. The actors were excellent.

The Winters Tale is quite a play! And a play of two halves! Mixing all of Shakespeare's talents; comedy, tragedy and long twisting story lines about not that much this was a real treat. Great acting by all and some familiar faces it was a fine night out!
