SHIFT

SHIFT

Cath Styles has been a psychiatric nurse for 25 years and a comedian for 10. Between the nights, evenings, weekends and holidays she's worked in both jobs, she's never had a weekend off. EVER!

Shift is the story of her on again, off again, love affair with her (paying!) job. The highs, the lows, the dark, beautiful, sad, and sometimes hilarious side of looking after people who are trying to hold on to their sanity, while you're trying really hard to hold on to yours!

Flavoured with the black humour that is the language of those who work on the front line at stupid o'clock, Shift explores the craziness of a workplace where anything can happen (and usually does!), and how you can love your job, even when it really doesn't love you.

It's enlightening. It's uplifting. It's funny.

You should see it. Stat!

Some interesting stories.

Not a very comedic performer. She was passionate and engaging, but not very funny.

Cath told some interesting and amusing stories about her nursing career. Enjoyed the banter!

Harry

Funny and thought provoking. Don't know which would be the harder gig. Nursing or stand up comedy!
