Fly Guardian
An old ramshackle shop, a place where a band of gypsies was formerly located. Now it is nothing more than a rubbish tip.
In the middle of old clothes and broken objects, we see an old man – busy talking to flies.
This is his whole life, until a violent, arrogant young man enters the room and challenges him.
But the Old, representing the experience and wisdom, is stronger, which leads to an unexpected turn of events.
This two-act suspenseful drama evolves around the themes of existence, betrayal, murder, love, understanding… and forgiveness.

Acting outstanding. Themes should have been engaging but story failed to hold my interest. Delightful building inside unfortunately covered up by theatre props and other stuff. Check out the woodwork on the ceiling
Great venue as La Mama is known for.Very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Actors kept you engrossed with a story full of human emotions.
All actors were fantastice their high standard acting shining through, however I found the story line at time dragged out and you have to study the storyline deeply to figure out the ending.
Great and welcoming little venue, one I'd like to frequent more often. The play was interesting, not too fast, and presented a lot of different emotions. A lot of dialogue, and solid acting.
