A woman dances with a puppet made from her underwear because no one else is
watching.
A woman tries to masturbate while wearing a corset and large skirts but can’t... quite... reach...
A woman sets the table and waits and waits and waits for someone who never comes.
Coming to Adelaide as a part of the Fringe Festival, The Art of Bedfighting is something private, funny and special; a show that shares the whimsy and heartbreak of being alone by telling a story too difficult to tell with words.
A silent cabaret with live music, clowning and physical theatre, this is a show about when being alone is the best feeling ever; and the opposite - when you just want a hug but no one is around to give it to you.
If you’ve ever found it hard to get out of bed because the world was a bit too much, come and have a laugh-cry at The Art of Bedfighting.
Performed by Alia Vryens and accompanied by Tim Beresford
