Good venue. Family friendly, magical indeed, if only food was focused a little less on junk & a bit more on health.

Went with friends who'd won tickets thru the local paper and were all keen to see the show. The 4 adults found it a little disappointing tho on arrival and the set up appeared vastly different to a video playing on the big screen all night to advertise the event. The kids ( 4,6,7,5) quite enjoyed themselves on the rides they were tall enough to go on. The snow area was lovely, the gingerbread making fun, lights all sparkling looked very pretty & there were some great giant sized toy models ie soldiers, houses etc that looked wonderful. Many people tho were commenting "it was like a big empty warehouse that someone had dropped some Santa things into to fill up space." The food available onsite was appalling and expensive - saddest looking offerings we've seen anywhere & appeared to be a blatant grab by the operators for money - There was however no choice so if you wanted to eat - that was it! Surprised to see charges of $5 for some games as the entry fee was surely enough to pay for parents? Lovely to see some characters walking round and interacting with the kids, the circus show was entertaining tho a little slow in parts & lots of people left before it ended. I've heard great reports about Melbourne Kingdom so maybe it just needs some tweaking & a little more love in Sydney. Really appreciated the tickets - best thing was that the kids enjoyed themselves & the free ice creams on exiting made their night complete!
