Lisa-Skye & Nick Caddaye are Gentlemen's Agreement

The barker takes the stage and clears his throat. “Ladies and Gentlemen!” He begins, his voice rough and loud. “Comedy dynamo Lisa-Skye and comedy recluse Nick Caddaye are putting on a show!”
The mention of their names prompts a murmur from the crowd, but to Sherriff Crawley’s ears, it’s impossible to tell if it’s a positive acknowledgement or not.
“It will probably be the best show either of them has ever put on, and given that between them they’ve put on over forty shows over the course of the last fifteen years, that's quite the statement!”
“Hyperbole!” A voice from the crowd interrupts.
“Hyperbole? More like a downright lie!” More voices join the tumult, and the crowd grows uneasy. The Sherriff rests his hand on the hilt of his pistol.
Then, from the rear, a voice rises above the growing din, clear and bright. “I’ve seen both of them, and the bar is so low they might be telling the truth!”
The crowd laughs and the tension is broken. But whilst the moment has passed, an air of scepticism remains.
