I hadn't seen the play so I didn't know a lot of what was going on and I found the speech hard to understand. The acting was good I thought.

Very intense and dark. The scenery, musical score and visuals were brilliant - left us in awe!

very dramatic

Too bloody. "Game of Thrones" without the sex. Some very interesting angles - the witches, Lady MacBeth's big speech and Birnam Wood coming to Dunsinane are all treated in a different way from the usual. But the final struggle between MacBeth and MacDuff was really disappointing - messy and confused.
I'd hate to try and work out what was happening if I didn't know the play
